At Prairie Ridge Church our doors are wide open to everyone, regardless of their background or previous church experience. We are not a small church, but don't let that intimidate you. You can blend in if you like, but we make it easy to get connected. At The Ridge, we hope you’ll find a place where you really matter—because you matter to God.
Location: We are located at the corner of NW 36th street and Ash Drive in Northern Ankeny. For a map and driving directions click here.
Service Times: Services are Sunday mornings at 9:00am & 10:30am. Both services are identical. Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the service begins to ensure you have enough time to grab a coffee, and drop off your kids (if you have them).
Parking: There is plenty of parking for you in our lot and one of our parking attendants will assist you when you arrive. If you have special needs, or are taking care of a car full of kids by yourself, consider pulling your car right up to the building and take advantage of our free valet parking service.
Dress / Style: We encourage you to be casual and come as you are. Our pastor often wears jeans if that gives you an idea...however, you are welcome to arrive dressed up as well.
Worship: Worship is led by a full band of talented musicians. Sorry, but you won't find any pipe organs here (not that there is anything wrong with that.) We strive to use relevant, meaningful, music to worship in a language that people understand.
Assistive Listening Devices: Assistive listening devices are available at the Hub located right inside the main entrance.
For Children: Ridge Kids, our children’s ministry, is available for infants (4 months through grade 5) at both weekend services. If you would like your child to participate in our children's ministry, plan to arrive approximately 15 minutes prior to the service to get registered and allow time for you to get to your seat. Look for the greeters wearing bright red T-shirts in our lobby, they are happy to help you.
Global Cafe: The Global Cafe is a full-service espresso bar located inside Prairie Ridge. Stop by and grab a hot or cold drink to take into the service. All proceeds from the Global Cafe fund our local and international mission projects.
The Hub: If you have questions once you’re here, stop by the Hub located in the gathering space (right inside the front doors). One of our Hub volunteers will be happy to help you.
