Awana is our mid-week kids program for children (3 years- 5th grade) designed to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ.
Awana is a worldwide program that is offered in more than 12,000 churches both in the U.S. and nationally. The Awana name is taken from the the first letters of approved workmen are not ashamed as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15 of the Bible. The Awana program helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. Awana is an effective approach for evangelizing and discipling kids in the church and community.
On Monday nights each week, Awana participants at The Ridge enjoy games, Scripture memory, Bible lessons, and more.
We currently run two AWANA sessions on Mondays:
Afternoon-4:15-5:45 pm for Cubbies (3-5 yrs) & Sparks (K-2nd Grade)
Evening- 6:15-8:00 pm for Cubbies (3-5 yrs), Sparks (K-2nd Grade), and T & T (3rd-5th Grade)
