At The Ridge, we want every child who participates in our Elementary Children’s Worship program to know the heart of Jesus so they can live for Him! The Ridge Kids ministry exists to connect children in many different ways to Jesus, people, and missions.

Our mission:
To provide an atmosphere for Kindergarten – 5th grade to experience three basic truths modeled by Jesus in Luke 2:52 - I need to make the wise choice, I can trust God no matter what, and I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
Sunday Morning Fun:
Growing in wisdom, faith, and friendship—that’s what CW at The Ridge is all about. Each Sunday, your child will Plug In, Power Up, and Catch On with other Kindergarten-5th graders alongside leaders who are communicating Truth in a relevant way.
Plug In is designed to introduce your child to the weekly topic in a setting that gives them plenty of interaction with a small group leader and their peers. Groups will consist of a leader and 6-8 children.
Power Up is designed to engage your child in worship in a large group setting. Music, prayer, and an innovative approach to the Bible story are always part of this interactive time.
Catch On is designed to help your child understand how the day’s topic applies to them. They will discuss real-life experiences, interact with their peers, and participate in a variety of activities that appeal to different learning styles.
At The Ridge, we believe parents and children should become actively engaged in learning how to worship together. During the summer months, we take a break from Children’s Worship and encourage families to worship together. It is our prayer that families use this opportunity to explain, lead, and model worship for their children. We do realize that as you accept the challenge to help your children learn to worship, you might find it a little more difficult to worship yourself. You might occasionally lose your focus or be distracted by what is going on around you.
But thankfully…worship isn’t really about us—it’s about God. And we’re pretty sure He doesn’t get distracted by our children’s efforts at worship—He rejoices!
