Serving Our Community
Love Lunches helps provide consistent meals to children and families who are food insecure during the summer months. We provide healthy lunches and a place to connect with others from our community. The need continues to grow as families' incomes are stretched thin with rising grocery prices. The Ridge partners with other local churches to make this program possible.

Volunteer Opportunities
On-Site Love Lunch Servers:
Lunches are served behind Ankeny Presbyterian Church at 317 SE Trilein Drive. Volunteers are needed from 11:00 am-1:00 pm to help prepare and serve the lunches.
Please sign up all children 10 or older as individual volunteers.

Off-Site Meal Prep Volunteer:
Bring a dish HOT in a DISPOSABLE pan to the back entrance of Ankeny Presbyterian Church (317 SE Trilein) at 11:00 am on the day you sign up for. The recipe will be provided. - or- Package 10 or more PNB and Jelly Sandwiches and deliver at 11:00 am on the day you sign up.
