Ridge Community Partners
These local partnerships help The Ridge love our community in meaningful, practical ways. Each one gives us a chance to serve people, build relationships, and share the hope of Jesus right here at home.
- Foster Squad – We partner with Foster Squad because caring for vulnerable children also means caring for the families who open their homes to them. This gives The Ridge a practical way to support foster families with encouragement, resources, and the love of Jesus.
- Hope Ministries – We partner with Hope Ministries because no one in our community should face hunger, homelessness, or hopelessness alone. Through this partnership, The Ridge can come alongside people in hard seasons with practical help and compassionate care.
- Iowa Gardening for Good – We partner with Iowa Gardening for Good because feeding our neighbors is a hands-on way to love our community. This partnership gives The Ridge opportunities to serve together and help provide fresh food for those who need it most.
- Joshua Christian Academy – We partner with Joshua Christian Academy because we believe every child deserves to be known, encouraged, and grounded in truth. This gives The Ridge a meaningful way to invest in urban students and families through Christ-centered education. We partner with JCA to provide free lunches to students every Thursday during the school year.
- Kids Hope USA – We partner with Kids Hope USA because one caring, consistent adult can make a lasting difference in a child’s life. Through mentoring, The Ridge can build trusted relationships that help students feel seen, supported, and encouraged. The Ridge has been chosen to partner with Heritage Elementary School to mentor students in grades kindergarten through fifth.
- Love Lunches - Love Lunches helps provide consistent meals to children and families who are food insecure during the summer months. We provide healthy lunches and a place to connect with others from our community. The Ridge partners with other local churches to make this program possible.
- Wings of Refuge – We partner with Wings of Refuge because we believe in the healing, dignity, and restoration of every person. This partnership allows The Ridge to support survivors of sex trafficking and sexual exploitation with compassion and be part of bringing hope in the name of Jesus.
- Christmas Blessings – We organize Christmas Blessings each year because the holidays are a meaningful time to show love in practical ways. This gives The Ridge an opportunity to bless families in our church and community, while also supporting our outreach partners with gifts, gift cards, and needed items so they can care well for those they serve.
